Even Malik Nabers Knows and Admitted The Giants Can't Beat Jayden Daniels

Ok maybe I exaggerated that title a little....but did I? Did I actually? Because we're all adults here, we all know what Malik Nabers was really saying without actually saying it. We can read between the lines here. He looks at his QB and sees Daniel Jones, and then he looks across the field and sees Jayden Daniels, and he knows who is going to win 99/100 times when they face off against each other. He practices with Daniel Jones every day after having practiced with Jayden every day in college, so yeah, I think it's fair to say he knows the Giants, in their current form, will not beat Jayden's Commanders.

And can anyone really blame him for being openly salty about his situation? Daniel Jones is ass. I cannot think of any starting QB in the NFL who has ever been given as long of a leash as ol' DJ. His current play would be acceptable if he was a rookie. It would be given a pass if he was in his 2nd year. He would be considered for a back-up job if it was his 3rd year....and somehow, someway, this is his SIXTH YEAR. 6!!!!! I do not know how the Giants fans tolerate this. Look at yesterday's stats at the half:

And they never make a change. They just allow Daniel Jones to do this shit week in and week out. If you're a Giants fan and reading this, I'm on your side here! I don't know why you guys are forced to suffer like this! If DJ played this way in Washington we'd have drafted 3 other QBs and started 8 other journeymen at this point in his career.

I think it's fair to say Daniel Jones is NOT the franchise QB the Giants have been looking for. I cannot believe this is even still a debate (is it still a debate?) 6 years into his career, but he's still the starter so I guess it is.

As for Malik Nabers, well, that rookie contract will be done soon enough. I'm sure Jayden will be happy to reunite in DC.
